Epson C3
6-axis robot

The C3 series is Epson's latest model in the ProSix series 6-axis robots. It features Epson's high-speed, low vibration Smart Motion Control technolgy and embodies optimal functionality for the precision assembly of small parts.

Quick and Reliable

Thanks to the innovative Epson smart Motion Technology, the Epson prosix C3 combines high-speed and high-precision. Average cycle time in the 0.37 seconds range (1 kg load) with repeatability of ± 0.02 mm can be achieved. This makes the prosix C3 the best six-axis robot in its class.

C3 robot features

The C3 series robots feature the following:
  • high speed and high precision;
  • increases productivity with best in class speed and accuracy;
  • average cycle time in the 0.3+ second range (1 kg load), with repeatability of ±0.02mm;
  • small elbow area (3rd joint) approx. half that of the current model;
  • less interference with peripherals, walls and ceiling permits more compact installation;
  • compact wrist (5th joint) with wide motion range enables smooth movement and the ability to work from many angles;
  • minimal interference with surroundings improves flexibility in hand design.

RC180 controller is small and compact system featuring the diversity and reliability that is typical for products originating from Epson. It can be configured with 5 different mountings, allowing it to be installed in small places.

Simple yet powerful

The installation is simple and programming is very intuitive. The actual coding is done on an external PC, running the programming environment. The software is easy to understand for anyone with a little programming background.

Multitasking

The system isn't just for operating the robot, but using its inputs/outputs it can control other devices and/or tasks as well in your specific application. Various parts of the program can work together or completely independent of one another.

Networking

The RC180 offers full networking capability, which is often a requirement for larger projects administered by several developers.

Epson's smart camera system is easy to install and simple to operate. Thanks to the seamless Vision Editor integration, the camera plugs right into the robot's programming environment. With the help of the powerful geometry tools the camera programming is intuitive. There are two versions of the camera: stationary and mobile.

You can use other type of cameras or vision systems with our robots as well.
